A gothic, erotic horror with mystery/suspense in a fictional fantasy which draws on the tradition of erotic tales, Shadowy Desires tackles the difficulties inherent in a world intent upon satisfying its desires. The book tells of people caught up in spiritual espionage and what lies beyond our usual experience, such as supernatural beings or societies where rebellion cannot be silenced.
Recent research has shown that readers in the book obsession climate would consider Shadowy Desires as marketable in today's industry. We are in the midst of a tremendous resurgence around themes such as Gothic, supernatural and adult fiction, and there are plenty of New York Times best sellers to prove it: A Court of Thorns & Roses series by Sarah J. Maas has sold more than 13 million copies; Helen Hoang's The Kiss Quotient is being developed into a movie along with dynamic mediation inspired literary podcasts and attracted whole series discussions. Another, awe inspiring compliment is “The 50 Shades of Grey” by E.L. James, selling over 165 million copies since 2017; where I draw my inspiration.
Shadowy Desires series of 15+ titles is my life’s work since the 3rd grade. It is poised where a male and female hero struggle for fulfillment in the chaos of their own hearts married to violence. This version forces readers consider how suppressed carnal desires enhance a human’s innate spirituality in its duality. Gone uncontrolled, their basic need for personal satisfaction is becoming more repressed by the white-picket fence acceptance of misclassified, repressed normalcy.
With the current emphasis on diversity of voice and theme in publishing, Shadowy Desires stands out by combining gothic elements with erotic exploration. Not just for fun and games, my book follows ongoing traditions that have emerged from Shadowy Desires. For those readers who want something more than an escape, they have to lean towards tales that give expression to their inner struggles and thoughts. Presently, she is pursuing her first Masterʻs in Nonprofit Management and Leadership towards a PhD in Management from Walden University as a direct refusal to attend any brick-and-mortar school, knowing the hitman for parts trafficking will never stop stalking her ~ but WHY? As a seasoned and experienced corporate whistleblower in Houston, TX, dating back to 2009 for Graham Packaging Company, LP (https://dockets.justia.com/docket/texas/txsdce/4:2009cv03234/703344) ~ when will her peace of mind ever become a reality? Mrs. Stratton-Kerr is a serial, social entrepreneur who has empowered and inspired people to make better decisions since the young age of 5, as well as a co-founder of Ashley Blackʻs Original FasciaBlaster® and former Business Manager spanning 2010 – 2012? Perhaps it was 2009 – 2011? Too much abuse makes it difficult to recollect precise dates, but has everything fully documented since the third grade. Mrs. Stratton-Kerr raised herself with a tough, common-sense, hard-working drive and blatant refusal to back down from standing for truth, justice, liberty, and freedom of all people – including herself. No ONE should be enslaved for the WRONG paycheck, nor intentionally destroy someone’s life and obsessively lie about it!
One last note, under development, a non-fiction series called “Common Cents Ain’t So” (also 15+ with titles assigned) ~ unraveling the patterns of insane population control with the truth beyond the veil of lies, like brainwashing children for profit. Plus, a children’s book series “Loko Koko” to teach the “training wheels” of common sense driven by the world of wildlife lacking a debit card. Last, textbooks with my PhD and homeschooling curriculums (e.g., similar to South Carolina, but tailored to each specific regulatory requirements for all states (funded by states) and cathartic series motivated by the late, Dr. Wayne Dyer under Hay House, are also in the plan. Perhaps, the floodgate should be my fictional series?
